HOW DOES IT WORK?
What is a rage room? Rage Room, also known as smash room or anger room, is a room designed to vent anger and destroy items within the room. Clients can breakitems by throwing them against hard surfaces or destroy items by smashing them with tools.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A rage room, also known as a smash room or anger room, is a business where people can vent their rage by destroying objects within a room.
Rage rooms may consist of fake living rooms and kitchens with replicas of furnishings and objects such as televisions and desks. The company may allow clients to bring their own possessions to destroy.
The first rage rooms to open were likely in Japan in 2008 or earlier. The concept spread to other countries, such as Serbia, England, and Argentina. Today, there are hundreds of rage rooms in cities in the United States such as Denver, Huntsville, Tucson, Austin, Milwaukee, Buffalo, Charleston, Rochester, Hampton, Eugene, Charlotte, Ogden and American Fork.
In an article published in July 2019, Dr. John Huber, a clinical forensic psychologist, on rage rooms stated "Therapy is very beneficial all the way around. I think this is a stopgap. I think if you use it in conjunction with therapy this would be great."
Safety is paramount when operating a smash room business. While rage rooms provide a safe space for destroying items, there are always obvious risks involved with sessions, including slipping and falling, flying debris from items being smashed, and emotional injury. Because of this, all rage room establishments have required participants to wear safety gear, and sign a liability waiver. Also, to prevent liability lawsuits and to satisfy insurance requirements, participants have to be at least 16 years old (18 if using the room alone, or 16 if accompanied by a responsible adult, who must sign the waiver on the child's behalf; due to the obvious dangers involved, and pregnant women, intoxicated, injured or sick persons are usually always forbidden.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much physical exertion is involved?
The SMASH rooms are primarily designed so you can exert as much effort as you like; however, you will be required to move around the room. Don't worry, it's nothing too strenuous (although sometimes things get quite competitive in there!).
How difficult is it to smash?
The activity has been designed to be the ultimate fun even though we take safety very seriously. This activity can be harmful if you're drunk or on something. Please, be careful and follow our instructions for a great time.
Am I really locked in?
No, definitely not! While the phrase, "Escape Room" may imply that you have to solve the puzzles to get out, our games focus on completing several objectives with the ultimate goal of completing the story. You and your teammates are free to leave the room at any time you wish, although we recommend that you stay inside the room until you complete it to enhance your experience. If you're still in the room after the timer has expired, we'll also help you out of there. Their is a "key of shame", if you need to leave at anytime.
How long is the experience?
We recommend that groups arrive no later than 5 minutes before their allocated time slot. Before each session you'll have a short briefing session covering some basic rules and you need to get dressed in your PPE gear. The session itself lasts 15 minutes.
What do I bring?
You don't need to bring anything except for yourselves and some socks.
Minimum age?
The minimum age is 16. All kids need to be accompanied by parent.
What Should I Wear?
Please wear comfortable clothes and socks
Large groups?
Yes. We can cater for up to 20 people total with 10 in Escape Room and 10 in Smash Room. Please contact us for more information and we'll send you all the details for your corporate event, hens party, Bucks party, and even wedding proposals!
